• Are there any restrictions on who can use your service?

• What if I don't like the advice you give me?
  Decorating advice is very subjective. Each person will have different ideas of what works and what doesn't. The advice you will receive is based on years of hands-on experience with our customers. You are paying for a professional opinion based on that experience and we hope that you will find this both useful and inspiring. There is however no guarantee that the advice you receive will be what you want to hear. To that extent, there are no refunds for advice not taken. Return to Question
• Do I have to buy a ticket for each window I am decorating?
  No. You only need one ticket for each style of window treatment you need. If you have two windows in a bedroom for instance, the advice for one will be the same as the advice for both. When you send us your question, make sure we know the number of windows that will be receiving this treatment. Return to Question
• What factors do you consider when designing a window?
  When designing the ideal window treatment, we take into consideration many factors. With the information you provide, we are able to give you the best options. Some clients come to us with very odd windows and no idea how to dress them. That's not a problem. We enjoy the challenge. Every window problem has a solution and finding the answers to those problems has led us to creating many innovative designs. You may for instance, have a window for which you are concerned about heat loss or harsh sunlight. We will provide you with the best ideas as well as the up-to-date product information you need to make a wise decision. • Does designing with colour affect mood?
  Absolutely. Colours can make us feel different ways and even contribute to our sense of well-being. Careful choice of colour can help us feel calm or relaxed, happy, energized, even excited. For instance, red is a great choice for a dining or eating areas as it can enhance your eating experience. Notice the next time you are in a fine restaurant if there is any red in the decor. Room orientation and exposure to warm or cool exterior lighting can also influence choice of colour. A well integrated colour scheme may help to bring unity (or contrast) to various parts of your home or office. Colour should support the various types of activities your rooms are used for. • What is the purpose of a floor plan?
  While creating floor plans can be time consuming and difficult to do on your own, having a floor plan can be the single best way to avoid costly mistakes and will help to keep your renovation project on track. Floor plans are particularly beneficial for those facing the challenge of placing furniture in tight spaces and in proximity to multiple windows and doors. We've helped many clients to pre-visualize their finished space by placing furniture to best advantage using a custom floor plan. You don't have to have every piece against the wall either.   Have you ever gone into a show room and thought that the chair or sofa in front of you was just the right piece for your space you were working on only to find out what looked small in the showroom is actually TOO BIG in your home. That's were we can help. By providing us with measurements and descriptions of your existing space, we can recommend the types and styles of furniture that will fit your space and gives you the look you are after.   A full room makeover addresses all decorating issues within a room and coordinating them into a cohesive unit. By taking the pieces you love or even starting from scratch we can give you the room of your dreams. Having created many beautiful rooms our goal is to leave you with a room you will enjoy, and love. Each space we design should be a reflection of you. We like to guide our clients, giving you the confidence to achieve the room you always wanted. We do this through asking lots of questions and listening to what you are saying.
